Helen Cheng

Helen is a trusts and estates attorney at Withers Bergman who focuses on exempt organizations and philanthropic planning. She assists individual clients in all aspects of estate planning, estate and trust administration, and charitable planning. She also creates nonprofit organizations and provides ongoing legal advice to private foundations and public charities. Prior to joining Withers, Helen worked in the nonprofit sector for almost ten years doing planned giving and business development Helen has been on faculty at the UC Irvine School of Law, where she has taught Charitable Planning and Tax-Exempt Organizations. Helen is in leadership with the ABA’s Real Property and Trust & Estate Law, CharitableOrganizations Committee, and speaks often on charitable planning and exempt organizations.
